We installed this radiator manifold today, which allows each room to be controlled individually. Think of it as a point to point solution, each room is it’s own zone, so instead of using thermostatic valves on the radiator itself – which is often ineffective – the manifold allows you to control each room off its own thermostat.
The other advantage to a manifold system is not having to wait for a chain of radiators to warm up from the nearest to the furthest, the radiators will all warm up equally.
