Was quoted and installed a brand new boiler. Turnaround time was excellent from quote to installation date – only a few weeks. Work was completed over 2 days, and the professionalism of the team and the quality of the work were amazing. We had a messy installation of a previous boiler, and they removed the old boiler and much of the old piping and replaced it with cleanly installed new piping. Charlie was very professional, friendly, thorough and tidy. It was difficult to find the leak as it was small but did a lot of damage over time. I thought it was coming from under the floor but with Charlie’s professional investigation, it turned out it was not. It was the tap all along. So we did not need an expensive leak detection system or crack the entire floor open. Just good old common sense and patience led to the right diagnosis and treatment which was a new tap and pipework under it. It was all reasonably priced as well. I have used several plumbers over the years and DSB Heating and Mechanical Services is the one I have stayed with for my domestic plumbing needs. Replaced a toilet cistern and taps. They did a good job. We were warned that due to the design of the built-in cistern, there might be some damage but they were able to do the work without any damage and made it look good afterwards. They did initially miss sealing the toilet pan in place so water could have gotten through to the floorboards but they came and made it right quickly after this was pointed out.
